Think of it as merely an extended way of, say, walking through a series of rooms. Could you make that flower appear on the other side of this garden? But by moving yourself, you can do any number of things with it: move it anywhere you like, plant it, destroy it, and so on.
It's simply that my series of rooms are time and space. I can move through what's commonly perceived as past and future, as well as any universe I wish.
