I knew witches were real before I met one. There are things that the, ah, community knows of and passes along. Vampires keep to themselves. So do most everything else, but they seem to be more xenophobic than most. When you're part of something that isn't supposed to exist, I suppose it broadens your willingness to believe without needing to see it.
