spent the past like 40 mins getting sucked in by FFXIV lore oops

[ that lowers her metaphorical hackles; her tail stills once more and the tenseness in her shoulders eases up. there isn't an awful lot that gets her truly aggravated, but anything that seems to disrespect or objectify her friends - or other living, breathing, thinking beings - in general bothers her a fair amount. ]

Then I would appreciate if you refrained from crude talk about dragons around me in the future, sir.

[ she's kind of modest. and maybe a little bit of a prude. sex is definitely not a comfortable subject for her, but she'll happily talk shop about caving in skulls or shooting an arrow through a monster's eye to its brains. ]

The myth behind the creation of the Au Ra is that the Dusk Father and Dawn Mother created the world, then quarreled over who would rule it. They created the Raen and the Xaela respectively to serve as soldiers and fight their war by proxy. They waged war against each other for generations until they put aside their differences and came to love each other.

Upon seeing this the Dusk Father and Dawn Mother returned to the heavens and left the world in the custody of their children.

[ She... rolls her shoulders in a small shrug. ]

I do not know what the truth this myth stems from is. All I know is that many of my people were slaughtered when they sought refuge in Coerthas because the people there believed the Au Ra to be Dravanian bastards.

I... do not believe it to be an unpleasant thought now.

What are the Qunari like?

(( popular theory (that i agree with) is that the Dusk Mother and Dawn Father were Tiamat and Bahamut respectively so. draconian race yaass ))
