i've totally done that with dragon age lore

[A small smile curves his mouth, but he doesn't respond to that reprimand. It's something he'll note -- he's not out to earn an enemy here if he can avoid it. Bull has had others draw lines with him before; he can usually gauge whether or not it's with true intent, or just posturing. This one is certainly real.

Interesting, to see her tail respond so emotionally.]

Not an unusual tale. Even a little romantic. The Mother and Father part, I mean. [Less the genocidal slaughter.] Glad to meet my first Au Ra. Uh, sorry about your ancestors.

[This is a familiar question, and one he's more hesitant to plunge into, given how it often came -- suspicious, even angry and demanding of answers, expecting savagery. He recognizes this context isn't burdened by prejudice. And she's shared plenty about her own people.]

A lot of the history is less clear, so I'll go ahead and skip that. But we've been around for a while. The race defines itself as Qunari, or followers of the Qun. We tend to have similar physical characteristics. So, the horns and skin color. You don't have to look like us to be "Qunari," but we would call you Viddathari. Elves, humans, dwarves. Whoever.

And before you ask me what the Qun is, it's not something easy to explain.

[More than that, he's not sure he wants to, and if he tried they might be here all day.]

Anyway, we're not that common in most of the world. Not like humans, or even elves. So I'm used to the attention.
