I had not heard the origin myth until relatively recently, nor had I known about the slaughter. I am hardly the best example of an Auri woman, unfortunately. [ it's still a bit awkward for her, really. she has no memory of her past and so feels no real connection to the Auri people. ] But I am glad to meet my first Qunari, even if the circumstances are... Au Ra were not commonly found in Eorzea when I first found myself there. They still are not the most abundant race on the continent, as they originate from the Far Eastern continent. I did not enjoy the attention, so I hid my horns and tail away for some months.
