[ Era can't say she disapproves of slicing the vine in two. If she had a sword on hand she likely would have done the same. Unfortunately the only bladed weapon she could fit in her pockets were a small set of basic daggers (stabbers, as the Rogue's guild calls them, she recalls fondly). She trots along behind him to pull her second dagger free of the squirming vine.
Noting the viscous liquid coating her blades Era places them on the ground in near the vine, then performs three quick hand seals - Ten, Chi, Jin for Suiton - and a large spout of water bursts from the ground for second. When her daggers land back on the ground she picks them back up. ]
I recall the theocracy of Aymeric's home having something similar. A set of 'rules' dictated by their Matron that they were meant to abide by. After we dissolved the theocracy things have changed, but... I dislike such things defining a society. A society should define itself.
[ ...She doubts the Iron Bull would make fun of her for her name, so she doesn't mind explaining for him. ]
I had no name. Someone commented that I was on a new era of my life, and so I thought that was suitable enough. For my surname 'Ra' was suggested, both because I am an Au Ra and because Era Ra would match the local naming conventions.
