[Well, he hadn't been quite sure it was a joke. Jim seemed to have a pretty healthy ego, so you really never knew. Tony had certainly spoken similarly and with a lot of sincerity about others on occasion so you just really never knew. But it was a bit of a a relief Jim wasn't that far gone.

Steve gave Jim a grin, more than ready to fess up to his own shortcomings to make the guy feel a little better. After all, he was far from perfect himself.]


Well, that's good to know, and yeah, I wasn't entirely sure your head wasn't quite that big. But to be honest, I'm not any kind of skilled pilot. I like my motorcycle a lot better than a plane and I'm no good at sitting back and watching a fight. I usually lead by example, literally. And trust me, it's easier to crash something that flies than keep it in the sky. I'm really not anything special.
