[ Thor loves this, minding with other people in this sort of shared bedroom they've all been forced into: a sea of blankets, pillows, and bodies all compact into one sleeping area. The bonding, the closeness! He doesn't even need to sleep now, or much at all ever, really, but he's laying comfortably surrounded by people, watching a woman on the TV screen be seduced by a fish. It's hilarious, and charming, and he's enjoying himself by just lounging comfortably.
Then there are spiders, which he raises an eyebrow at as he brushes one crawling across his chest aside, because that's the first insect (arachnid, bug, thing) he's seen in this place that wasn't the size of a person or larger. And then the snakes come, and that's entertaining but unusual also, and it's unfortunate that people are screaming and fleeing the place, because snakes are harmless when they aren't trying to kill you with their venom. And Thor goes to demonstrate by picking one up, but his hand passes right through it, and the illusion vanishes.
And that's the first moment when his stomach drops, and real, irrational fear sets in.
He goes looking after that. And for all the people running and dusting themselves off and milling about the place, the one person not to move at all for the prank is easily found. ]
Brother?
[ Thor doesn't drop to his knees to hug Loki, or find something nearby to throw at (or through) him, but stands where he is, looking surprised, and injured. After a beat, his eyebrows crease and he looks less touched, more the calm confidence of his usual careless expression. ]
Or... sister?
[ Not that Loki looks at all like a woman right now, no visible cleavage or softer jaw, but Thor's been hearing some strange stories of other universes lately, and it can't hurt to be sure. This can't be the brother he knows, suddenly here, sitting casually and pulling pranks. It's not possible. This Loki being from the whole "sometimes sister" universe would make more sense than a Loki from his own. ]
