[ Loki speaks of change, and being better, all but using Thor's own words without ever having heard them, and Thor wants to trust him, wants not to be suspicious, but... There's just been so much stabbing. And that's fine, killing and stabbing people who deserve it. But Loki often didn't, and it wasn't just Thor that he stabbed; it was innocent people that he killed, hundreds of them, anyone who stood between him and his latest grab for power, and that was the problem.

Thor drinks from the soda, and has the decency not to drink it all before offering it back. ...It probably would've been more decent not to have stolen it at all but, you know. Striving to be better. We're all working on it. Some of us more than others, some of us less that usual since everything we loved was destroyed. ]

That is a relief. I was over fighting you and seeing you in chains for it.
