[ Erik's brow furrows at the question. The man is friendly enough, but this isn't exactly an equal exchange of information. The man seems interested in his past in a way few other volunteers are, and Erik can't shake the feeling that it's not simple curiosity that is motivating this soft interrogation, but some sort of suspicion. Perhaps he hasn't run far enough. Perhaps the men that knowingly falsely convicted him somehow found where he went and followed him.
