"Wow." Derek finds himself smiling, which is still something of a novelty. It doesn't happen very often, and he wonders if that's obvious by looking at him. He smiles like he's out of practice. "That's extraordinary. I read comics when I was a kid. Sounds like they lifted you from the pages."
The question makes his smile turn into a bit of a smirk, and he ducks his head almost shyly as he tries to figure out how to answer the question.
"My senses are heightened all the time, but on the full moon it's just, I don't know. It's amazing. I feel everything. Some people struggle with the wolf, but not me. We're perfectly in sync." Derek realizes that he's actually been rambling, excited by the prospect of having someone who actually wants to hear him talk. His cheeks flush a delicate shade of pink and he huffs out another breath before looking at Barry curiously.
