As he holds up his communicator, Ava nods slowly. "Yeah, I do. If you want we can find a place to sit down and I can show you how to work the device." She knew her way around electronics, even if she wasn't someone that had grown up with a cell phone clipped to their hip.
"Maybe the ears will wear off," she suggests, a little bit hopefully. She's someone that's very away of personal space, and not the most openly affectionate person in the world. So she doesn't step in, or grab him by the arm, but instead just holds out a hand in easy offer.
