[Billy doesn't know what to say, honestly. He'll never stop loving Teddy -- that isn't in him. He can't imagine any circumstances that it would be.

But Teddy still didn't trust him, still walked away and left Billy entirely blindsided. No matter how much Billy thinks he deserves it, it still stings.

But he shouldn't be trusted entirely when his magic is so ridiculously strong... or when he can bring back someone's dead mother as a monster or get some of their friends killed because he's an idiot starting giant fights or--

When he can agree to run away to a sex planet and dive headfirst into debauchery, you know. But it had been easier to do that than let himself shutdown again. Besides, it was for a good cause, right?

Whatever indignant yelling he might have done dies before it ever leaves his tongue, too much guilt twisting inside of him, too many thoughts reminding him just why Teddy should have walked away and stayed away.

He deflates a little and nudges a shoulder into Teddy's, the fondest gesture he can let himself have right now.]

I love you too, T. That'll always be the case. I just-- need time. Sorry.

[He gives a nod and forces himself to look up, meet Teddy's eyes.]
