To be fair, I would rather have an unbiased opinion. Or perhaps a biased opinion skewed more towards the volunteer side of things. [That is such a large amount of disdain. What Rey has said seems to be correct, though the idea that the volunteers were involved on their own merit is new.]

My, my... You get that in affairs like this a lot. People volunteering to be helpful, but letting their tempers control them, hm? It seems like this is going to be more of the same.
