Ed didn't know what pissed him off more, his situation being summarized so easily and thrown back in his face or the fact that the other Ed laughed when he hit him. Either way, they both fueled his anger even more and he grabbed the drunk by his sweatshirt while he spoke. A raised his hand to hit him again, but then -

'You can hit me again if that'll make you feel better but it's not getting you out of this situation.'

The bartender gave a curt grunt to remind Ed where he was when he hesitated. He wasn't pleased with the ruckus going on in his bar and his expression said something along the lines of, 'Stop fighting or get the fuck out.' They were also getting some unpleasant looks from the other patrons who had only wanted to enjoy their evening.

"TCH-"

Ed let the drunk go, but he wasn't done with him yet. He took a step back and tried to process what he had just been told, but it was difficult to do since he was so riled up. Seeing himself in this kind of pathetic state wasn't helping. He felt like he was stuck back in that room with Kimbley in Briggs, being told that he had to commit mass murder while Winry was being dangled as a hostage in front of him. This was different though. He had been able to do something about that then.
