Clearly Noiz is exactly as he was before Platinum Jail - before Aoba's version of Platinum Jail - and while that hurts almost as much as how Noiz disappeared on him afterwards, what is Aoba supposed to do about it? He's not some kind of miracle worker. What Noiz and him accomplished together - both the practical and the personal aspects - was a combination of a lot of factors, and probably a lot of luck too. He doesn't want to give up on helping Noiz, but he'll have to find other ways of doing so.
