plus, it's helpful to just go with the flow. when she realizes that enthusiastic is actually working in her favor — honestly unexpected, she was halfway prepared for him to pull back super freaked out the way she would have if someone had slammed their face into hers — clary goes for it, following his lead right into a kiss that makes her feel like he's trying to map out her mouth.
