He wasn't though, and the older of the two wanted whatever information he had, so he let it slide this time. The milotic was already watching the teen curiously, though, even if she didn't move.

When the kid started to explain it didn't take long for him to recognize what was going on. He'd been on the other end of this conversation enough times over the last several years to see it coming. The younger Ed was so casual about all of this because he was used to there being two of them already, he'd done this before. That made things worlds easier - or would have, except that it was clearly his turn to be recognized by someone without the memory of ever knowing them. That was not a comfortable feeling.
