More like wrong, in fact, the teen may have never been more wrong in his entire life. Would, and had, as the younger was figuring out at that moment. There was definitely a reason the Ed he lived with had never talked about this.

"She didn't give me much of a choice." He was going to point out that she was trying to take Al to be used for Dante's sick purposes but considering he didn't know how much the kid knew there didn't seem to be much of a point in arguing that.

He still didn't seem all that moved by the emotional reaction. He could be angry and disgusted all he wanted, that didn't change the need for survival. If he could murder her in front of Al without his pleas stopping him, some duplicate from another universe wasn't about to convince him what he was doing was wrong.

"She won't stop until one of us is dead." Honestly, that wouldn't be so bad, if dying meant getting away from Zenith finally. It wouldn't though, they'd just bring him back and the cycle would repeat as long as she was here, as far as he could tell.

"If she goes back through that portal it'll be Al next. I can't let her do that."
