Ed paused for a moment before grumbling. "I don't know." He had gotten upset with his counterpart in Riverview too even though he knew there was no point to it. He resumed with putting everything away while his head swam with possible answers to that question. One he finished up, he placed his hands on the counter, keeping his gaze away from the adult.

"I guess I'm just scared of something like that happening between me and Al." He couldn't think of any reason why it would get like that between them. They had been through some rough stuff, like when Al had the idea that he had been fabricated. He couldn't imagine anything worse than that. "For the longest time I thought he blamed me for everything."
