Ed's eyes narrowed. It was too simple. If he had been pulled into Riverview on some arbitrary bullshit like 'feeling displaced,' then what was stopping something similar happening for him to be pulled somewhere else that didn't have a convenient time-freeze for him? For all he knew, Al could have been pulled into a world like that and the reverse could be happening!

"You're full of crap." He could stay in his denial as much as he wanted if that's what made him feel better. It's not like this was the adult's problem, was it? Eventually, the teenager would be gone (hopefully back to Riverview, or even better, to his version of Amestris somehow) and he could forget about it.
